In a home with a rescued animal, there is hope, joy, and love.

For Viva, rescued as a frightened puppy from the streets of a remote northern Quebec community, hope replaces fear, joy replaces sadness, and love replaces hurt. Because Viva was rescued, we know she loves going for boat rides, we know she looks forward to meeting up with her dog friends at the local dog park, and we know that there is no such thing as a stick too big, or too heavy for Viva to pick up and carry home.

Because of your support and generosity, Viva is alive, happy, and living her best life.

For Boots, rescued from a barn as a tiny, timid, and emaciated kitten, hope replaces fear, joy replaces sadness, and love replaces hurt. Because Boots was rescued, we know he loves spending hours on the windowsill napping and watching the squirrels, we know he loves eating baguettes, and we know that when he’s excited and happy, he spins in circles.

Because of your support and generosity, Boots is alive, happy, and living his best life.

Viva and Boots are just two of the over 200 deserving cats and dogs whose lives we saved this year.

We know that for many this is a challenging time, but please, let’s not forget the animals. We can mend their broken spirits with compassion and love, but we need your help to keep them warm, and fed, and provide the veterinary care they need.

Help us bring hope, joy, and love to the lives of the many neglected and abandoned cats and dogs in need of a soft place to land.

As the holiday season approaches, be kind, be compassionate, and if you can, be generous.
