Frontier Animal Society
Société animale frontalière/Frontier Animal Society (SAFAS) is a non-profit animal rescue located in the eastern townships of Quebec. Founded in 1986 by Joyce Dekker, our shelter provides a safe and caring environment for our adoptable dogs and cats while they await their forever homes. At any one time the shelter is home to approximately 12 dogs and 25 cats and all animals remain in our care until they are adopted.
SAFAS is run by a Board of Directors, and we rely on the support of volunteers to assist us in our day-to-day operations.
As a registered charity, we depend entirely on donations.
For updates on our adopted animals please visit our Facebook page.
CAT ADOPTION CLINICS
We have many wonderful cats and kittens available for adoption. If you are ready to add a new furry friend to your family, why not come to one of our cat adoption clinics that are taking place from 10 a.m. to noon every Saturday and Sunday throughout the month of September.
We are located at 2405 chemin Griffin, Ogden (QC)
